Spiderman returns to be attacked by The Green Goblin again but he loses his memory and likes Peter again but an escaped criminal falls into an unguarded scientific experiment in the middle of a field and turns into Sandman and then Spiderman saves a model who just happens to be in his class at school as well as the commissioner's daughter so Spiderman gets a parade but during the parade Sandman robs an armoured car so Spiderman stops him but then it just so happens that the Sandman was really the one who killed Uncle Ben and then an alien who just so happens to land right next to Spiderman takes over Spiderman and turns him bad and he kills Sandman but then The Green Goblin gets his memory back and attacks Spiderman again but Spiderman kills him and then Spiderman gets rid of the alien who falls on a photographer who tried to make Spiderman look bad who just so happened to be in the same building at the time and also just so happened to be going out with the girl who Spiderman saved in the first place and turns him into Venom who teams up with Sandman who isn't really dead and then they take MJ hostage to attack Spiderman but then it turns out The Green Goblin isn't really dead either and they all have a big four way fight. The End. It's still Sam Raimi so the comic relief is funny and the action is exciting so it's never boring, but JESUS. That plot could've been written by a hyperactive six year old on Easter Sunday...

It was good a good flic, captivating, your swept along until the end when you realise, Hey this movie could have been, should have been, two seperate movies. This is because if seperate movies there would have been more time to develop characters and not leave them 2-D.

Not as bad as some people make out. It suffers for trying being two films squeezed into one, Raimi's originally planned sandman love ballade and multiple love triangle film and the studios enforced symbiote story and emergance of venom. Take the emo-dancing out, and sandmen with his tedious backstory and put more venom in (venom with less topher grace face time) and this is easily best of the three.

The best installment in the series and way better than X-men 3, Sam Raimi has done it again with Spider-man and has created one of the best superhero films out there. Can not wait long enough for number 4.

This movie was a bit slower than the rest, but the story was good. I liked the sandman and, at the end, venom.

Action was excelent! But the story was kind of.... silly, and soap operahish. Could have been great...but not developed well enough.

Surely not the best Spiderman, but I thought it was really well done, the acting was pretty good, the action was pleasing (although I was very disappointed by the CGI), it's sad at some parts. But some parts didn't exactly make sense and some stuff was corny which kind of separated it from the first two films, this was tadle too cheesy.

What saves Spider-Man 3 from becoming well, "Superman III," is the fact that it's still a solid film that packs a punch when it comes to turn on the spectacle.

Obviously, the worst of the trilogy. I will say that Venom was done very well, and I liked the fact that Topher Grace did the part. He did great justice to the character. But the actual movie itself sucked big ol' fat balls.

I was not all that fond of the first two Spider-Man movies. I get fed up with Peter Parker's angst.

As long as we have Kirsten Dunst and Toby Maguire starring together in the flicks you'll have my attention. Rumors of them fighting and not getting alng makes you wonder if they'll ever be a 4. Come on now, are you two going to let the Dark Night rule the roost.

I liked this flick. after reading some of the negative reviews this movie has received, I am left with one thought...people who expect too much realism from a comic-style movie will be sorely disappointed every time. for those who love the quirky, exaggerated style of such films...view away!

what ruined this for me was when he became darker and all of a sudden he was like a jazz dancer(?) or something. Ummm... what the fuck was that?
the black spider thing was sick though, soooooooooo cool.

I hope Sam Raimi doesn't come back for "Spider-Man 4". I'm tired of his take on Spidey. Does it seem to anyone else like Raimi just wants to direct a romantic comedy that just happens to star a superhero? If "Spider-Man 3" had been as good as "Spider-Man 2", I might feel differently, but since "Spider-Man 3" was a major disappointment, I'd be happy to see a new director at the helm of this franchise. (And I wouldn't mind seeing the backs of Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst either.)

You know, I actually really like this movie, but it just occurred to me that it would have been a much tighter, more coherent and ultimately better film if Sam Raimi had omitted Sandman. I liked Sandman, mind you- I thought he was well-played for being such a minor foe in the comics, and they certainly got the look right. But he was ultimately an attempt to maintain the tone of the second film, a classic Spidey villain to offset the newer, darker ones- in the end, he served no purpose in the narrative that couldn't have been served by Harry or some nameless thugs. It's funny that they would try to turn Sandman into a villain with personal ties to Peter when Harry and Venom are two of the most personal foes Spidey has ever faced- why throw in Sandman, too? The film would have been much sharper if it had focussed on Harry's obsession with vengeance (hopefully ended in a more plausible way), Peter's descent into darkness, and their mutual attempts to achieve redemption. Still, I liked it.
